Resolution Authorizing the City Manager Enter Into a Contract With Linprint Company for Printing and Distribution of the City’s Newsletter

LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
This resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Linprint Company through June 30, 2025. The renewal agreement has an option to extend for four additional fiscal years in two-year increments, subject to future appropriation, with the mutual consent and agreement of both parties in writing.
The annual estimated amount of the contract is $94,340, for a total estimated amount of $501,159 through June 30, 2029, which includes option years. Linprint Company will provide printing and distribution services for the City’s citizen newsletter. The term will begin on April 1, 2024 and continue through June 30, 2025. The initial term will consist of four (4) newsletters. Subsequent two-year renewals, if activated, will consist of six (6) newsletters.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT, the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Linprint Company through June 30, 2025. The renewal contract includes two (2) - two (2) year extension options. The total contract amount, including all potential extensions, is not to exceed $501,159; and,
THAT, the City Manager is authorized to execute the extensions for FY 25, and FY 27 so long as funding is approved in the annual budget for that year.
