Ordinance Making Supplemental Appropriation in the Amount of $1,007,822 to the Kerr Avenue Trail Project from Various Transportation Bond Projects and the Transportation Bond's Bike & Pedestrian Contingency Fund

LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
WHEREAS, this ordinance appropriates $1,007,822 from the Wrightsville Avenue-Castle to Independence Project (2TRST1571), Oleander Sidewalk-Wooster to Mimosa Project (2TRST1572), McClelland Sidewalk Improvements Project (2TRST1580), Central College Trail Project (2TRST1593), and Transportation Bond's Contingency: Bike/Ped Project (2TRST1595) to the Kerr Avenue Trail Project (2TRST1592), which is necessary to complete preconstruction activities; and,
WHEREAS, the additional funding requested for preconstruction activities is primarily associated with property acquisitions, cost escalation due to market conditions, and increased utility relocation costs.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
THAT, the following supplemental appropriation is hereby made to the Streets and Sidewalks Capital Projects Fund, and that the following revenue is available to meet this appropriation:
