Ordinance Transferring $25,000 in Funding from the General Fund to the Streets and Sidewalks Capital Projects Fund for the Rail Realignment Project [Budget Impact: N/A]

LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
WHEREAS, this ordinance authorizes the transfer of $25,000 in FY24 funding from a General Fund Sundry Account to the Rail Realignment Project 2TRSY2020 within the Streets and Sidewalks Capital Projects Fund; and,
WHEREAS, the transfer will enable the payment of NCDOT fees and charges associated with the state’s matching funds provided toward the grant awarded to the City by the Federal Railroad Administration via the FY18 Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements grant.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
THAT, the following supplemental appropriation is hereby made to General Fund and the Streets and Sidewalks Capital Projects Fund, and that the following revenues are available to meet this appropriation.
