Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into a Five-Year Agreement with Faster Asset Solutions in the Amount of $239,960 for the Upgrade of the Fleet Management Software [Budget Impact: Fleet Fund]

LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
WHEREAS, the current Faster Fleet software solution is server based and will no longer be supported, and,
WHEREAS, Faster Asset Solutions will migrate Fleet’s asset management system from the City’s server to a web solution, and,
WHEREAS, the fee includes a one-time implementation cost of $111,305 with an annual maintenance cost of $25,731 for five years.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT, the City Manager is hereby authorized to complete the purchase. The City Manager and City Attorney are authorized to draft, edit, and execute any agreements required to do so, for the Five-Year Agreement at a cost of $239,960 for the migration and annual maintenance of the Faster Fleet Management software solution, subject to future appropriation from City Council.
