LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
This resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a three (3) year lease agreement with Stevenson-Hendrick Honda Wilmington for the lease of four (4) vehicles. These vehicles will be utilized by the Department’s Investigative Bureau.
The lease(s) will be for 36 months for a total amount of $88,090.29 for the four vehicles. The breakdown per year is FY25 $29,363.43, FY26 $29,36.43 and FY27 $29,363.43. Funds for FY25 have been included in the PD’s budget. Funds for the subsequent years will be subject to approval of the annual budget.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT, funds for FY25 are included in the Police Department budget.
THAT, the subsequent years’ budgets are subject to annual appropriations.
THAT, the City Manager is authorized to enter into a three (3) year lease agreement with Stevenson-Hendrick Honda Wilmington for the lease of four (4) vehicles.
