LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
WHEREAS, a petition was properly submitted to the City Clerk to annex non-contiguous parcels of property, totaling 19.21 acres, located at 7725, 7729, 7753, & 7759 Alexander Road; and,
WHEREAS, City Council directed at their September 17, 2024, meeting that the City Clerk, in accordance with N.C.G.S. §160A-58.2, certify said petition for non-contiguous annexation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has submitted the certification as requested by City Council.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT, City Council hereby accepts the certification by the City Clerk of the attached petition for annexation of 19.21 acres of property located at 7725, 7729, 7753, & 7759 Alexander Road.
