Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Consulting Contract with Transmap Engineering, PLLC, of Columbus, OH, for a Pavement Condition Survey in the Amount of $133,225 [Budget Impact - Capital Street Rehabilitation Fund]

LEGISLATIVE INTENT/PURPOSE:
WHEREAS, the City aims to complete a pavement condition survey every 5 years to assist with street and sidewalk maintenance and rehabilitation planning; and,
WHEREAS, through the RFP process, the City received three (3) proposals for the pavement condition survey; and,
WHEREAS, the proposal from Transmap Engineering, PLLC was ranked the highest; and,
WHEREAS, staff recommends the award of the contract for the pavement condition survey to Transmap Engineering, PLLC; and,
WHEREAS, this contract is a continuation of pavement condition data collected from similar previous surveys conducted in 2005, 2011, 2015, and 2020; and,
WHEREAS, funding for this contract is available in the Capital Street Rehabilitation Fund.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT, the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Transmap Engineering, PLLC, of Columbus, OH, in the amount of $133,225 for a pavement condition survey.
