PURPOSE:
The purpose of this resolution is to allow the City Manager to enter into a one-year extension with Johnson Controls, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI (“Johnson”), for an amount not to exceed $36,000, for continues usage of the Milestone software, used to manage and store videos from City cameras.
BACKGROUND:
The City has used the Milestone software from Johnson for multiple years. The overall cost has exceeded the $90,000 threshold and must be brought to the City Council for approval.
This software is used to manage and store videos from some of the City’s cameras and is used by police to help solve crimes within the camera’s footprint.

Funding is available within IT’s budget in the amount of $36,000.

Authorize the City Manager to sign a one-year extension to our current subscription in an amount not to exceed $36,000.
