BACKGROUND:
On June 17, 2025, City Council approved a Resolution of Intent to Close a portion of Aubrey Alley, an unimproved alley between Parsley Street and Davis Street. This portion of unimproved right-of-way has a total length of approximately 264 feet and includes ?0.18 acres of land. A case summary and other supporting materials accompany this item.

The City's Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the requested closure on June 4, 2025. Public comments were accepted via an online form on the City's website in advance of the Planning Commission meeting. No comments were received via the online public comment form, and no one spoke in favor of or in opposition to the request during the public hearing. After discussion, the Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval of the requested right-of-way closure.

If this street closure is not approved, the existing right-of-way will remain open. If this street closure is approved, the right-of-way will be split between the adjoining property owners.
