PURPOSE:
The purpose of this resolution is to enter into an Interlocal Agreement between the Wilmington Housing Authority and the City of Wilmington to provide three (3) Wilmington Police Officers to Wilmington Housing Authority Property.
BACKGROUND:
For several years, the Wilmington Police Department has been providing additional police services to Wilmington Housing Authority properties to maintain the safety of the occupants of such developments and enhance the general public safety.

BUDGET IMPACT:
The budget impact of entering into the ILA is revenue from Wilmington Housing Authority to the City to pay for the additional police officers in the amount of $158,000.
