PURPOSE:
The purpose of this resolution is to execute a one-year contract with Smartsheet, Inc (“Smartsheet”), for an enterprise work management platform.
BACKGROUND:
The City has been using Smartsheet since 2018, with use case numbers steadily increasing each year. Today, the City leverages Smartsheet for a wide range of functions, including ticket tracking, inventory control, project management, resource management, public records requests, and numerous other operational needs across the organization.
This contract was procured pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes §143B-1320(c)-(d), which allows exceptions for competitive bid requirements for certain IT services.

BUDGET IMPACT:
Funding in the amount of $105,840 will come from IT’s budget and was included in the FY26 adopted budget.

Staff recommends approval of the resolution authorizing the contract with Smartsheet, Inc. in the amount of $105,840.
