PURPOSE:
The purpose of this ordinance is to appropriate $118,700 from Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (“CFPUA”) to the Stormwater Capital Projects Fund for the Wisteria/Clearbrook Drainage Improvements Project Stage II (“Project”).
BACKGROUND:
The City plans to begin construction on the Project, including relocation of water and sewer line facilities in the City's right-of-way, that are in conflict with storm drainage pipes, the costs of which will be reimbursed by CFPUA in an amount not to exceed $118,700 without further agreement from CFPUA. This ordinance will appropriate those funds received from CFPUA to the Stormwater Capital Projects Fund for the Project.
