PURPOSE:
Attached for your consideration is an ordinance making supplemental appropriation of $12,011 for Cando Street improvements from a payment in lieu to the City’s Streets and Sidewalks Capital Project Fund.
BACKGROUND:
Per the accompanying resolution for public street acceptance, Cando Street was approved with the Stokely Center project in 2005 and built in 2006. Attached Exhibit A provides a visual of the location. The street was constructed in accordance with the approved plans. However, the current asphalt and pavement markings conditions need maintenance. The developer has agreed to pay $12,011 to the City of Wilmington for those maintenance improvements.

The appropriation will be made to the City’s Streets and Sidewalk Capital Project Fund.
