PURPOSE:
The purpose of this ordinance is to appropriate $257,582 from Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (“CFPUA”) to the Stormwater Capital Projects Fund for the Pirate Cove Drainage Improvements Project (“Project”).
BACKGROUND:
The City plans to begin construction on the Project, including relocation of water and sewer line facilities in the City's right-of-way, that are in conflict with storm drainage pipes. The costs will be reimbursed by CFPUA in an amount not to exceed $257,582 without further agreement from CFPUA. This ordinance will appropriate those funds received from CFPUA to the Stormwater Capital Projects Fund for the Project.
