PURPOSE:
The Wilmington Tree Commission would like to recognize and present Heritage Tree Awards for 2026. The Heritage Tree Program recognizes significant trees in the Wilmington community for their size, cultural significance or rarity. This program began in 2007, and 80 trees have been recognized to date.
