PURPOSE:
Attached for your consideration is a resolution authorizing the conditional partial release of the public drainage easement within lot 3R of the Garris Road Division.
BACKGROUND:
The easement proposed for release is shown in Exhibit A, attached to this resolution. The original drainage easements were recorded at Map Book 65, Page 251, and accepted by the City Council on 2/2/2021, along with the Garris Road official acceptance. The easement release is conditional upon the relocation of all drainage facilities within the easement area, per City standards (including associated grading and stabilization), as shown in the approved construction plans for the Woodspring Suites, currently under review with the City’s Technical Review Committee. If the developer fails to meet the conditions as indicated in the approved construction plans, the easement release will not occur.
