PURPOSE:
The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the City Manager to enter into a contract with Odyssey Mechanical, LLC (“Odyssey”) in the amount of $129,023 for the removal and replacement of a chilled water-cooling unit for the Main Data Center (“MDC”) at Skyline Center.
BACKGROUND:
Skyline Center has two (2) cooling units for the MDC. One unit was replaced in FY25. The original manufacturer, Data Aire, is no longer in operation, making it challenging or impossible to acquire replacement parts for the remaining unit. Replacing this unit creates redundancies and ensures the space remains at the proper temperature, which is critical for the city’s data equipment.
The City received three bids for this work. Odyssey was the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, and met all specified requirements within the bid.
This contract is a critical necessity for the City to ensure proper HVAC operation for the MDF room at Skyline Center.

BUDGET IMPACT:
Funding in the amount of $129,023 is available in Skyline Center’s FY26 operating budget.
